    Started off running but had calf twinges like last year...stopped running and got on the elliptical for most of the workout. Calf felt much much better. Will keep easing into it!

    30 minute run....didn't push it too hard, when I got tired I slowed down....getting easier step by step. Ranged from 9:13/mile to 11:19/mile according to GPS. Elliptical tommorrow.

      Isn't that the greatest feeling? Some people can't believe when I'm sore and I use exercise to make me feel better. They don't know what they are missing.

      No doubt...I love that feeling! The little aches and pains (usually from the previous workout) all melt away 5 minutes into it.

    Finally, a better run....ran at 9:45-10:00 pace until I had to answer the phone midway through the run. 4 minutes lost and right back into it. No problems and feel great.

    Worked up a good sweat with core workout consisting of ab workout + modified push-ups x3 with a short jog after.

    Did the performance workout where the incline is changed throughout and have to pedal backwards. Felt much more normal today.

    Run before dinner....hate running with a full workout room...kept it under control...could have pushed it out much faster but shins achy from yesterday airport sprint.

    Incrementally better....at least my heartrate was in the 190's. Serves me right for taking so long off. (and smoking....gasp) Felt great in the end though!
