      That's a good pace, Nicole! I'm much slower than that! My goal for this first HM is to simply finish....I'll work on pace with the next one. You're doing great! We are going to have so much fun!

      Ok, its kinda hard to describe it in writing, but here it goes...Press against your side with your hand where it is hurting and lean that direction and exhale forcefully HUH (like your dry heaving) It was one of the worst side stitches I think I've ever had and it was gone instantly after doing this!

      I'm using Jeff Galloway's HM training for beginners. I run for 30mins on Tues and Thurs, then do the long run on Sat or Sun. I'm going to start doing cardio on my "off" days, so I can lose some of this fat a** and run faster. However, I'm trying not to focus on pace and focus on just finishing. "I may be slow, but I'm still lapping everyone on the couch." (stole that from Pinterest)

    Got my 2mi in but didn't run them without walking :( Just wasn't feeling it today; I think I might have siked myself out mentally knowing I had to run 2 mi and I didn't think I could do it.

    C25K week3 day 2. Run 3/4 walk 1/2 run 3/4. Had to push myself on the last run, but I did it :). Tomorrow is run 2mi with no walking...WTH!

      That has to be a different program than I used. Mine was still a 90 second run at 3 weeks. A 2 mile run is still a BIG deal for me. Good luck!

      My left shin was hurting pretty bad at work last night after my run yesterday and I iced it down really good and took some Naproxen, its feeling alot better. Have you tried ice?
