My first run in more than a week thanks to my injured calf. It still felt pretty tight and a little sore, but I think it is mostly healed. We'll find out if later today I can't walk, then I'll know I've strained it again. This was a terrible workout, but I guess that's what I should expect after having basically a full month off. My goal for the tempo portion was 8:12/mi, but as you can see, I missed it completely.
Splits:
Warmup - 1 mile, 9:45
3 mi tempo, 28:19, 9:26/mi avg (a lot of walking)
Cool down - 0.67 miles, 7:14 (10:51/mi avg)

Way to go on getting back into it. Be sure to listen to your body though, you don't want to prolong the injury.
