blah 10.9 mile Long Run 10.92 mi 01:48 09:55 pace

I felt better than I did during last week's long run, but not a whole lot better. My goal was to be around 9:17/mi, but I had to walk a few times and ended up considerably slower. Maybe I'll be b... read more

You need to cut yourself some slack...you've been trainning back-to-back!!! I consider that pretty admirable! Hang in there!

good 6 mi. Long Tempo Run (Treadmill) 6.75 mi 01:00 08:51 pace

Negative windchill means another run on the dreadmill. I felt pretty good for this entire run, and certainly better than I expected to feel after the slow start I've had in training for Lincoln. ... read more

    3x1600m Intervals (Treadmill) 4.8 mi 00:44 09:03 pace

Tough workout. I think there is something wrong with my footpod, because the paces were all over the place, so these numbers are just estimates. My goal split for each 1600 m repeat was 7:37

alright 9.5 Mile Long Run 9.55 mi 01:36 10:02 pace

My first long run since Disney. It was pretty tough (although, I think that had a bit to do with the fact that I donate blood earlier this week). My goal had been to average around 9:10/mi, but t... read more

Now that I think about it, technically this wasn't my first long run since Disney. I did an 8 mile run a couple weeks ago.

blah 3 mi. Short Tempo 4.67 mi 00:45 09:42 pace

My first run in more than a week thanks to my injured calf. It still felt pretty tight and a little sore, but I think it is mostly healed. We'll find out if later today I can't walk, then I'll kn... read more

      Nice Job:

Way to go on getting back into it. Be sure to listen to your body though, you don't want to prolong the injury.

  6. I just signed up for the Twin Cities Marathon! No backing down now!

  7. I think I might have a minor soleus strain. Standard recovery is 7-10 days of NO RUNNING. Ugh, I guess I better get used to the pool at my Lifetime for a week or two.

Take it easy and heel fully before running again, you don't want to prolong the injury. Swimming though is great cardio.
