Feeling like a million bucks after a great early workout this morning. I decided to split things up and do strength training at the gym and my run at the local track. I am beginning to enjoy going to the gym especially at 5 am where the air is fresh and unpolluted. At the gym: 2 sets of each, pushups, squats, russian hop, db incline press, under grip pulldown, db upright row, bench dips, reverse crunch, straight bar curl, ball to toe crunch. Being at the track seriously makes me feel like a 13-year old again, LOL ;D I Love, love, love these track sessions. Astro turf is unnaturally cushy, pavement is hard, but a dirt track is just right for me. I did a 1 mile warm up, four 400 meter intervals 8:20/8:00/7:24/7:06, and a 1 mile cool down. I combined two days worth of running so that I can have an active rest day of some easy miles on the bike tomorrow. Happy Thursday everyone! http://runkeeper.com/user/millierose79/activity/98255889

That is one heck of a total workout--seriously. I may copy you. Great progression on the intervals-- you really got cooking as you went along.
