@Kelly & Marcie: I'm doubly excited and scared because I don't know how to swim so I'm taking classes and learning this summer. We signed up for the sprint triathlon (2.5 mile run, 600 meter open water swim in the ocean, and 12.5 mile bike ride.) My goal is to finish and have fun :) http://www.mermaidseries.com/capitola#!__capitola

Sorry you weren't feeling yourself but you probably helped the cold a bit by going out and doing this. Hope you are feeling better now. Looks like a nice 6 miles to end the week Millie.

I completely understand how 4:45 is sleeping in. 3:30 is my normal alarm time--solely for working out purposes. The things we do... What a solid run this morning Millie! Love your consistency and dedication. And love that you are enjoying your new routine!

I think this is a great race Millie! Love that there were only 4 women if I am reading that right. Sounds like you ran it smart and that is a great improvement over your time 3 months ago. I think a PR by the fall is well within your reach. Great to see this and congrats on a race well run! Very, very jealous of the SF Beer Fest. Hope you had one for me...
