My first mile was putrid. I was nauseous, my legs felt rubbery, my breathing straggly. But after that I felt like I could fly. I picked up the pace. I thought I was flying. Only in my head.
I set out this week to run one hour each day, and I am thankful for the 4.75. We'll have to see what tomorrow brings.
