It LOOKED like it was going to be a little cooler today plus I wanted to try running on my left pinky toe which I stubbed two days ago, I don't think it's broken but it got nice and purple and swollen. It felt a little better today and it didn't hurt to run on it at all. I didn't run as far as I wanted to but it was because it was hotter than I thought out there. First 2 miles was at a 9 minute mile pace. Slowed way down after that.

    I wish I could... There's no way I'll be ready in time... what really sucks is that I'm going to miss Shamrock because we will deply again the week before. And I'll miss RnR 2012 because we don't get back until October. Shamrock 2013 will probably be my next half. I'm doing the Wicked 10K on my birthday though, and the last few MWR 5K's.
