Not bad, all things considered. Less than 4 minutes slower than last year, and I trained for that one. I can't let myself get this out of shape again!

I wish I could... There's no way I'll be ready in time... what really sucks is that I'm going to miss Shamrock because we will deply again the week before. And I'll miss RnR 2012 because we don't get back until October. Shamrock 2013 will probably be my next half. I'm doing the Wicked 10K on my birthday though, and the last few MWR 5K's.

injured Willoughby 10 Miler 10.27 mi 01:54 11:04 pace
Not good. Cramped up BAD and had to walk almost the entire last mile or so. Tried to start back up and got a killer charley horse, limped the last few blocks. Also have a nice blister under my left... read more

Nice race Michael. The blister was probably caused by your foot moving in your shoe as you run. Make sure your shoes fit properly. (I had this problem and had to switch out to different shoes.)
