Today was the Memorial Murph. This is arguably the most famous WOD of Crossfit, and many if not most boxes do it on Memorial Day in honor of those who have fallen. I decided to go Rx and use the weight vest, which may have been one of the dumber choices I've made. I broke the movements into 20 rounds of Cindy (5 pull ups, 10 push ups, 15 squats), and battled my way through. The vest I was wearing was too big, so it was a challenge in the push ups and on the run (on the run it was like getting punched in the chest every step). On the whole though, it was a "fun" WOD and there were a ton of people at Uptown celebrating and participating. It was a good morning.
