Bring on 2017 (year 6 on DM). The big ones this year for me are the Ice Age Trail 50, 50 mile in May and the Chicago Marathon in October.

      Oh man, Mike, this is awesome - running 43.5 is enough of an accomplishment, but you did it in pretty tough weather conditions. I know what you mean about having company - or at least someone in sight - in a race - it does make things easier.

    25* and windy. Ran first mile into the wind then 4 miles of cross wind and a planned finish last mile with wind at my back. I was dressed just about right, but it still took about 3 miles to warm up.
