good Gene Fulmer Rec Center 4 mi 00:40 10:00 pace

First time using lipty for training. Kindof fun at the rec center, only a handful of people at 8:00. Surprised at how quickly my heart rate climbed up and way over my target - which was the 80% range. Kept adjusting level and speed to feeling like a workout, but not off the charts with my heart rate. I'll get it figured out.....

Quick note - I was always way to high with the heart rate. I discovered while doing track workouts that my heart rate is much faster than normal. This might be the case with you too. My Max HR is close to 200. I have a little bird heart.

Nice work!! Do you have something that checks your heart rate or are you going by the machine?

Lisa i was thinking of you while i was watching it rise up to the level of a 10 year old. I really had to lighten up to keep it down. At the end i raised the level and sped up to 'finish strong' and it was up to 180. Guess i just maybe do have a faster heart rate!! Glad to hear that note from you Thanks!

I've always heard that you can't trust the readings on those machines. Check out the rate of perceived exertion (rpe) which applies more individually. http://trilifecoaching.blogspot.com/2010/06/importance-of-rpe.html The lipty can def. be your friend. ;)
