Okay so here's an overshare: when I was heavier I NEVER used to get chaffing. Now that I'm much leaner I am... go figure. My heart rate strap is even chaffing me. SO... anyone use the body glide stuff? Seriously... do you just rub it on? Why is this happening to me now?!


Yes that stuff is a life saver. Just rub it on.

You should see all the chaff marks on my body.......in places I never would have imagined. I am a small lady so I don't think heavy has anything to do with it. I keep forgetting the bodyglide. I put it on this morning....on old places......yesterday places and new places. As long as I wear the bodyglide, I get no chaffing. It is a huge blessing! I told my husband this morning that we need to swing by the sports store on our date.....I need bodyglide...and plenty of it! Chaffing hurts!

As for the question "why now?" Are you running more? I am running more miles and it is hot and humid. I am thinking that is the issue for me. I never chaffed in the winter.

^Oh yeah, maybe that's it. The last time I was running this kind of mileage was years ago in another city where it was during the winter mostly. That makes sense...

Glad you asked this. I am having the same issues! I am going to give it a shot. Part of my issue is loose skin after weight loss. The more I workout, the more there is! lol

I swear by that stuff! I do a lot of summer running in running skirts and that stuff definitely saves my skin!
