It felt slow. I was trying to increase my cadence, which is normally averaging 88. Today I averaged 91. Not that it matters much... just wanted to see how it felt.

How do u get to know your cadence? Wat's the advantage while running..sorry for ignorance, pls enlighten ..

I only know it from my garmin foot pod... it measures how many times my foot touches down in a minute. I've read that the fastest runners have a cadence even over 100, meaning their feet cycle 100 times in one minute. Over 90 is considered to be beneficial... a shorter stride is also associated with less injury because it forces you to not reach so far if you're prone to heel-striking as I am.
