Go Michele go! Have you registered for another race? I took some time off in early May but found that knowing I had a half coming up in November has helped me at least keep myself on some sort of schedule,

I need to do something Elyn. I still haven't gone running and have only walked this once! I have a lot going on, and when I try I just keep thinking of all things I need to do. I was motivated to run the 5k on my upcoming cruise, but i think it will be too hot. We have a family 5k planned for August, but I think it is my turn to run with the 6 year old, so not all that motivating!

Haven't run since my half 1.5 weeks ago, but have gotten tons of yard work, etc, done. Looks like everyone has been busy exercising. Keep it up ladies!

Michele--this is great! My half last week was worse than my princess time (not helped by the fact that I had to take a break and with 30,000 runners that added about 8 minutes! So sorry your kids were disappointed but congrats again!

Thanks Elyn. This race was local to me and had 2500 runners, up from 900 2 years ago because they added a marathon last year. 30,000 would be crazy!

Fast for me on the treadmill. Decided to stay in because it is really windy, and I wanted to do weights after. But my dog is getting really mad at me for not getting him outside for walks!

Includes .25 warm up, so a pretty good treadmill run. Experimented with going a little faster with my runs, definitely just need to get my body used to it.
