Spontaneous Brick Part II. After that crappy spin this run was welcomed. After the high cadence of spinning my legs seemed to have a lot of zip in them. Normally this would have been around 8:00-8:30 pace but with the same perceived effort I went faster than I thought. I didn't look at my Garmin until I got back home and was surprised. I did the whole run without heel striking which is getting a bit easier on the calves, but I still have to concentrate on it the whole time. I'll probably have a little residual soreness tomorrow, but not as bad as the first couple times. Fortunately the rain stopped before I went out and it started snowing after I finished. It was about 34 degrees.
