  3. RUN
    6 mile bridge repeats 6.06 mi 00:49 08:03 pace

  4. RUN
    Garminless 7 7 mi 00:59 08:24 pace

Ran with nate. I told him to wear the garmin and NOT let me know the pace we were running. I wanted to be "pushed" a bit. So we ran a one mile warmup, 5 miles between a 7:45-8:05 pace,... read more

  5. RUN
9 on the Chicago Lakefront 9.12 mi 01:21 08:54 pace

Cold but sunny! 11 hours later, my face is STILL bright red from the wind burn!

  6. RUN
    clumsy 3.5 mi 00:34 09:40 pace

Went out for five, slow and easy miles and ended up running 3.5, tripping on the sidewalk in the dark, and walking the remaining 1.5 miles home. Not the best way to end the day.

  7. RUN

    On the lookout for ice!

  8. RUN

  9. RUN

  10. RUN
    7ish 7.4 mi 01:03 08:28 pace

I really thought I was going to freeze, but once I started moving, the cold weather wasn't too bad! :-)

I think the fact the wind died down helped a lot. Nice pace! Are you doing the half or the full at the Flying Pig?

Hey Sean! Right not, the plan is to run a full. Haven't decided which one --- probably the pig... but maybe Nashville, Athens, or Cleveland?

  11. RUN
    6 miler - Tempo 6 mi 00:50 08:22 pace

2 Mile warm-up, 3 miles @ tempo pace, and 1 mile cooldown. The tempo pace was suppossed to be right at 8:17. My splits: 8:16, 8:21, 7:50. Need to work on the consistency a bit! :-)

  12. RUN
    Hilly 5 5 mi 00:45 08:54 pace

Nate and I just bought a house and no matter which direction we run, hills ensue. Oh well---it will only makes the quads stronger!

  13. RUN
Just enjoying the day! 3 mi 00:30 10:00 pace

Beautiful day. It was a garminless run so I am simply estimating my pace based on the effort I put in. The weather was so pretty that I couldn't NOT run!

  14. RUN
First Flying Pig Workout 6 mi 00:51 08:33 pace

Hilly run. It was tough running under a 9 min pace at first. But after the halfway point, my body got used to it and I sort of felt like my old self!

  15. RUN
First run in about a month! 4 mi 00:40 09:54 pace

Niceeee and easy! It was my first run over 2 miles in about one month. Have to start getting ready for spring races somehow! :-)

  16. RUN
Thanksgiving Day Race 6.2 mi 00:50 08:02 pace

Pretty please with the outcome! I have honestly only run 4 times since the Columbus Marathon, so I was happy that I could cover the distance with a little bit of pace! However, the time was a who... read more

Ran through Hyde Park with the Lululemon running group--- pretty hill, but the weather and the scenery were absolutely beautiful!

  18. RUN
    Wasn't really feeling it... 3.8 mi 00:35 09:18 pace

Wanted to run 6, but was feeling sort of "meh" so I stopped early --- I made up for it the next day!
