#dailymission What is the coldest you have ever run in? Would you do it again? Would you go colder? -2 F or so is the coldest. With windchill I'm sure I've run in colder. I'd do it again. Colder on... read more

12k run on Jan 15, 2012 when it was minus 0.4 F with a minus 16.6 F wind chill. It was cold but did OK by being dressed for that kind of weather and by changing directions often so no reason not to do it again.

Coldest training run was 7 degrees F with a wind chill around -10 F. Coldest race was a marathon at 27 degrees F... not sure what the wind chill was but it was an out-&-back and we were into the wind the second half.

Only once did I turn back from a run once out the door when it was -25C/-13F with a strong wind. I dressed in about 5 layers but it still cut through me and turned around after about 2 minutes.
