  1. RUN
    good Zone 4 Run 2.52 mi 00:30 11:50 pace

I felt much better physically today. Monday I was just so happy to get out on to the road again that I felt great regardless of anything else. Today I just felt good. I set out to keep in Zone 4 an... read more

  2. RUN
    great Zone 2 - "Recovery" 2 mi 00:29 14:20 pace

I am learning extreme patience to "run" this slow. Felt awesome. This whole Zone 2 must feel like what you all speedy people do all the time. I honestly felt like I was walking. :)

  3. RUN
    good Zone 4 - Heat Wave 2.12 mi 00:25 11:47 pace

SUPER FREAKING HUMID 1st outdoor run back in 2 months. Holy Hot Batman. June and July sucked for outdoor running so I kept my workouts inside at they gym, on the treadmill or track and some swimmin... read more

  4. I've been swimming laps lately (indoor pool) during the boys swimming lessons and trying to throw in some weights on other days. The smoke and heat in our area has killed any desire to run I would ... read more

  5. RUN
great HR Training "Run" 3.53 mi 00:45 12:48 pace

I am quite sure this time looks as ridiculous to you as it does to me. BUT - it's all about my HR right now. The humidity today was BRUTAL and I kept having to slow down to keep my HR in my Zone 2.... read more

HR training has got to be so difficult, I know I would struggle to keep in Zone 2 also. Nice work Colleen!

  6. RUN
    great Zone 2 Training 3.02 mi 00:36 12:02 pace

Great mind clearing run in my HR Zone 2 for all but the last .3 miles. Followed up with a bunch of active isolated stretching on my cool-down walk. My neighbors think I look silly. :)

Easy walk in HR Zone 1 to recover a little from yesterday's Max HR run.

  8. RUN
good Max HR run 3.03 mi 00:30 09:44 pace

Started very slowly and built every mile until I was running a 7:57 pace at the end. Yay for negative splits. I was dry heaving when I stopped my watch. Figured out my max HR and am now set up to g... read more

Same routine with Hubs as usual.

  10. RUN
    good Indoor track 1.5 mi

Typical indoor track walk/job with Hubs tonight. I also did a bunch of squats in class while I called counts to torture (I mean lead) my students. I also did some PT on my knee after that. (Super S... read more

  12. RUN
great Easy, Low Heart Rate Run 2.51 mi

I focused on keeping a lower heart rate today. Like below 140. It was relatively painful mentally because I WANTED to run harder. All good though. I'm working towards a goal. :)

good Jacksonville Symphony Classic 3.96 mi 00:42 10:36 pace

Finished the Jax Symphony Classic! I wasn't last and I didn't die. I'm happy with the run but the bridge, turn around, run back over the bridge section at the beginning kinda sucked. :)
