I still remember the first time I ran 20 minutes straight. It was on a treadmill at a 24 Hour Fitness. I remember talking myself through it. "3 minutes to go.... 2 minutes to go...." Keep it up!

yeah I have to continuously talk myself through it. But after I finish, I'm so amazed at myself that I keep thinking "I wonder what I can accomplish next round!?" Running is the ultimate high! lol. You guys have been running a lot right? I heard stretching is really good for running so you don't have heel, tendon or knee injury.. Should i stretch before running? after running? or both? I just want to make sure I don't hurt myself lol

I always stretch AFTER a run and rarely before. When starting a run, I make sure I warm up with a walk so the muscles ready to go. For ideas on good running stretches, see the Runners World site, http://www.runnersworld.com/topic/0,7122,s6-241-287-0-0,00.html - I also find that many yoga poses provide great stretches so I try to do yoga at least once a week, or do an extra long stretch session after one of my runs.
