It's taken a few weeks, but I'm finally caught up with my workout posts. From when I started my new job in January until the past few weeks, I didn't keep up on tracking with my regular posts at all. I only kept up with my spreadsheet. I guess I was pretty overwhelmed by the big life change that caused, and also not usually feeling very positive. I was often feeling depressed and/or really tired, and didn't care to take what little decreased opportunities I had to get on the laptop and stay on top of posting. So nice to be caught back up again now. Just in time for starting hard workouts again, which are the most time-consuming, analysis-wise, so I'm so glad I'm caught back up before really getting back into that too far.

This was my first track workout since December I think, first time running on track since January (indoor at alumni meet). I was truly excited to be back doing a track workout, really excited to be back in spikes and execute 200m intervals. It's a small thing I know, but I have to get back into it somewhere. This is just where I am right now.

I felt pretty great and faster than I expected. I didn't really feel very good during the warmup, but I felt good for the rest of it. I was going into this very sleep-deprived, so I was very happy with how good I felt and how nice and fast the 200s felt. Felt great to be back in spikes and running fast again. Just 2 ½ weeks until first race of the season.

Awesome, where is your race? I miss running on the track :( we don't have a real one anywhere near here.
