    Got in four miles on the treadmill late in the afternoon. Was a little slower than expected as responded to a few emails on the third mile so walked most of it.

    Got in a quick 5K in Atlanta hotel before breakfast, two basketball games, and then a flight home to the STL

    Took advantage of the beautiful 55-degree weather in Atlanta for five miles at the Emory track. Splits were: 8:00, 7:55, 8:18, 7:52, 7:45. Great start to the month!

    Did some sprints on the treadmill and then lifted and did some situps to end the day.

    Five mile run at the University of Rochester during our men's basketball practice. Set the pace at 7.0 - great to be back running again!

    Got in four miles again on the treadmill - continuing to improve my speed each day. Feel like I am almost back to 100 percent but don't want to push it.

    Continuing to make progress - ran for 40 minutes today at 10/minute pace. Leg is loosening up each day and hope to get back to full strength by end of week.

    Stepped on the treadmill for the first run in a week. Took it slow average 11:30 minutes/mile, but improving each day.

    3.88 miles/jog around the neighborhood. Nice to stretch the leg a little and actually run a little which was nice! Great start to the day before two basketball games.

    Got in a three mile walk with the wife around the neighborhood before a busy Saturday afternoon. Leg continues to improve but not strong enough to run.

    Played noon hoops during lunch hour Tuesday. Things went well until landed on calf wrong and suffered a pretty good sprain. Trainer worked it out but still a little tight and very sore. Will be off... read more

    Morning morning run around the neighborhood. Took me a while to get warmed up. Splits were: 8;24, 7:54, 7:46, 7:41.

    Got on the treadmill for a 5k. Took it nice and easy as body was sore after two plus hours of tennis Saturday night.
