great Boston Prep 16 Miler 16 mi 02:04 07:45 pace

Boston Prep 16 miler this morning, a sort of locally famous race that I've never been in shape to run until this year. Had 15 on the schedule, so figured I'd give it a go. Kept it around 7:40ish pace for the first half, which bought me some time on the NASTY hills in the second half. Three walk breaks, which is part of my plan for my spring ultra anyway, so no shame in that. Felt WAY better than I expected - definitely a good sign. Now to hop in the shower and go watch the Pats!
