Very good 6 mile run before pilates. Pilates trainer checked out my stride, etc to help format what I will be doing in pilates the next few weeks before my ultra.

Great 30 miles on the trainer today. Thought I was going to come off the trainer and into the wall. Ha! Really strong ride and worked on maintaining consistent cadence.

Fantastic 6000 yard swim tonight. Best focus in months.Technique was good and energy was high. Hit target time range of 20-22 min. per 1000.

Great 30 mile ride on the trainer. Did 90% of the ride in the big chainring. Training consisted on intervals out of the saddle, one leg pulls R&L, high cadence work, and surges. Stuck it today.... read more

Outstanding 20 miler today. Felt great and really had a much stronger pace than yesterday's 21. Did a better job fueling too. Really happy with today's run.

Pilates is the best! And not just saying that because I'm training to teach it. It really, really works. You'll find your alignment and core strength will really help your running. Good for you--not many men are brave enough to try it.
