Matt S. are we still talking ...
Dailymile makes it easy to keep track of your workouts. Map your routes and share with a community of active people.
Are we still talking about food?
Breakfast- high fiber cereal or oatmeal with crunchy PB every morning during the week. Always coffee, always vitamins.
Lunch- most important meal of the day for me. I run/play soccer after work- so usually I have big lunch. Lots of tuna, roast chicken, rice and of course lamb and falafel from various street carts. Lots of Twizzler cherry nibs too. Coffee or tea around 4 for a 6:30 run.
Dinner-.I usually get home from running around 8:30- so dinner has to be quick. Chickpeas/bacon/garlic/black pepper/paprika- eggs/chorizo/pinto beans. Post meal snack- amazon cherry frozen things, sorbet, dark choc
Hydration- fav topic. During the week I drink 2 cups of coffee a day and about 96-128oz of water. Its either gels or sports drink. Never both. The Gatorade mix on the course is always too sweet and too tempting to drink. Im a huge shot blok fan, but they’re no good if the weather is below 50. Hammer Gel it is. During games, I keep a bottle of half-powered HEED behind the goal and drink it at stoppages. If I don’t have any- its half a gel at halftime and water behind the goal. Games are at 9 or 10pm during the week- too much gel keeps me up all night
Oh, as the weekends go. It’s a lot of bacon, wine and beer.

I was waiting to read about the bacon. You did not let me down!! WOO! What is half-powered HEED? Your quick dinner sounds really good too!
