untimed run with dad. 4.08 mi
Dad's over for some yard work and wanted to go for a run in Storrs. Took him on my hilly 4 miler. It was nice.

RUN
good 4.14 mi 00:32 07:50 pace
first run back since my half, and an aggravation of an injury...felt good, obviously a fast pace for me. Tried focusing on landing closer towards the balls of my feet, which worked for a while, bu... read more

RUN
good Providence (Shape Up RI) Half... 13.2 mi 01:50 08:18 pace
It was humid, but overall I am happy with my race. 3rd half I've been under 1:50:00 out of 7, so it was a decent performance, much more hilly than last years course, they had to change it (I think... read more

yeah, it sucked, but still felt good. the weather this weekend will be tough...not gonna lie to you, the heat is going to be tough because we haven't really trained in 70 degrees for months. Hopefully it stays cool until after the race.

I know! I have been watching that weather and am not happy. I was really hoping for 50 or low 60s. We'll all deal and at least its not the rain nor'easter like Newport!

great 8.27 mi 01:07 08:06 pace
This was my best run in a long time. I didn't really worry about my pace or improving my speed, and tada...an amazing pace (for me) and I feel great. Hoping the weather 1 week from today at the p... read more

RUN
good 5.03 mi 00:42 08:21 pace
Not the greatest of runs, not the worst. I had to remind myself at one point that running isn't about PRing your next race; for the past few runs I've been pushing the pace so hard because for wha... read more

Congrats on 1 year. I agree with your running philosophy (though my efforts might not look like it lately). I run what I feel I need. I do pretty good at not stressing over workouts. Remind me I wrote this in July/August when I want a BQ in the Rochester Marathon, ok?

RUN
good 4.05 mi 00:33 08:14 pace
not a bad run, brings me 3 miles to left to run for this 10 day stretch (part of my 66 mile+ April is at least 20 every 10 days). I'll run more than 3 tomorrow (prob another 4 or 5). Feeling good... read more

just checked my training, I only had 33 miles in March. I wasn't injured. That's just unacceptable. I will more than double that in April, I promise that to you all now.

RUN
good 5.73 mi 00:51 08:49 pace
Warm day = lots of sweat = felt amazing = tired. It's time to get my pace back down towards the 8:00/mile. Less than 4 weeks until my next half, not in shape to set a new PR (most likely) but a s... read more

RUN
good 9.25 mi 01:24 09:04 pace
