Took it slow up the long hill, then started feeling AWESOME at mile 5 -- ran fast up the hill, then flew down to K.C.M.C at 8 minutes / mile! Had to slow down a bit after that, but joints are feeling good.

There are trees along the way whose broken seed pods release thick, heavy, dandelion-like fluff. Thousands of seed pods -- it's like running through a snow globe.
