    Sleepless night and the second day of chest pains led to a bad run. Hoping I can get back on track this week before Medina Half.

      I was having having chest pains/arythmia when I was not running - in the middle of the night. I got it checked out - a quick echo cardiogram . But chest pains would really scare me during running! I hope it was just some heat and dehydration. Will you get it checked out?

      I actually have a history of heart issues (arrhythmia/chest pains/hole in my heart, etc) and have been cleared to run, I just have to be aware of normal & non-normal feelings. I'd rather cut a run short and play it safe than end up in the hospital!

    Work trip-Did a short run around the city and got stuck at a bunch of lights. Forgot how sweaty and gross I get in 80 degree weather.

    Ran along Edgewater and the lake with a friend who is running her first 5k this Saturday! Very easy pace, spent the time catching up. Sometimes it's better to go for the miles and not the time.

    Just a short run to test the legs. Tight for about a minute but they were fine after that. Felt really good, looking forward to a few weeks of just casual running.

    Tough course. Felt like I was going to throw up or pass out from mile 5 to the very end. Definitely my worst race. Need to get back to my old times.

    Followed up spin with an hour of yoga, very refreshing. Yoga-lates is over so now it's just pure yoga. Even finished up with the lavender towel.

    Nighttime trail 10k, such a fun race! Beautiful views at sunset followed by pitch black trails. Felt like one of my strongest runs, last mile was my fastest! Loved this race

    Skipped regular yoga class due to migraine, so I attempted it at home. Only made 30 minutes, before I was feeling dizzy and my head was pounding more. Migraine=down for the count

    Brutal wind and pretty chilly, it was a tough day to run. Completely out of shape for a half marathon. I knew I wouldn't get close to a PR, just glad to get the miles in.
