I'm all about slow. I totally agree that the bravest thing is to just begin the process of starting to train for the event. Hope you kill it in 2 weeks!!

first 2 miles were with my daughter, whom i loved running with, plus had to use my other daughter's ipod, which was tricky... had a good pace for the remainder of run, no walking yay
