Mark ran 5 miles in 40 mins good 5 mi / 00:40 08:03 pace
Nice, quick 5 miler despite the strong winds. Logically, I know that if you start and end in the same place, the wind should equalize. It didn't feel that way though; more like 80/20 headwind to tailwind ratio!

Mark ran 15.51 miles in 2 hours and 30 mins goodThis one hurt. – 15.51 mi / 02:30 09:40 pace
Wow, this was tough. Had a few drinks last night with a friend, but I got to bed early so I thought I'd be OK. Wrong. I just felt bad for the whole run. BUT - I ran 15.5 miles and lived to talk about it. By far my longest run ever. None of us tim... read more

Mark - way to tough it out. If I'm going more than 10 the next day I lay off the "sports elixirs" - works for me.
Enjoy the rest of your day. Joe

Morning Arc Trainer session. Didn't want to push it because I've still got the long run tomorrow.

Mark ran 8.93 miles in 1 hour and 15 mins goodThe Hills! – 8.93 mi / 01:15 08:23 pace
Fastest training run in a long time - last time I ran this fast was on a 5k. Felt strong throughout. 3x200mg Ibuprofen and I'm ready to go. Ran with Brian the whole way - he's faster than me and it's great to run with him and push the pace.

Great group run from the Healthpoint. Just shy of a half marathon. Challenging but scenic course!

2nd run in the FiveFingers, but the first time I've worn them outside. I must say that I felt pretty good! The schedule says 6-7 miles today, but didn't want to push it too much in the new kicks. We'll see how I feel tomorrow!

Mark ran 5 miles in 45 mins good 5 mi / 00:45 09:00 pace
Arc Trainer hill program. Felt pretty sluggish at the beginning, but really got going after the first 15 minutes or so. Got the heart rate over 170 on several "hills"...

Ouch! Feel better soon.
