Spartan Workout (300's) 7.7 mi 00:52 06:41 pace

Last little workout before Sunday's 70.3. 15 min warmup, 10x300 w 300 intervals. 15 min cool down. Kept most of the 300's around 5:20 pace with a few near 5. Trying to just get some leg turnover without hurting myself.

My daughter rode her MTB alongside me and kept me company. I always enjoy it when she goes along. She started telling me how her friends all make a big deal that we don't have "food" at our house. What they mean is junk food. She's actually kind of proud that she eats more healthy than all her friends. I know I wasn't at that age. Everything we ate growing up was homegrown and homemade while all my friends had storebought or processed food. I was always embarrassed about it, but now I'm so impressed with my parents. Good thing my daughters are handling it well. :)

Which race are you doing? You know the kids are getting the message when they understand which foods are healthy and which aren't. Great job to you and your wife!

Great speed work Mark. I have found these work out to be a great help late in the race.
