This is the last real run until next weekend. I kept the pace for the first 8 at right below 6:30 and the last four at 6:14, 6:14, 6:09, 6:07. The last two were probably a bit fast for this run, but the pace felt comfortable so I held it. Hopefully that's what I'll be running for the last 5k of the race. My daughter rode alongside me this time, so this was probably the first training run where I've had company. Now it's time to really rest and begin to stockpile those carbs.
