    Marius, you are on the top of my leaderboard this week! How are the legs feeling? Any pains? After my week of 60, I felt a little achy, so these last two have been just under 50. I might start ramping back up though. Is this a record number of miles in a week? Great job!!

    Gail, no pains, no issues. This is the most I've run in one week in at least 16 years (the time I've been in the U.S.). I used to run way more in college. I ran a 77.3 miles one week last year, so the 79 isn't a post-South African PR by much, but I'm still happy about it! :) You might have to slow down some (at least initially) to run the higher mileage.

    I agree about needing to slow down some when ramping up the miles. I may be going for a 26.2-miler some time in the next month, and I want to take that one nice and slow with rest days in between. Not only did you run far, but your average pace must have been incredible. I think you're getting younger every year!
