tired Rode home from work via NH-8. 37.7 km 01:28 16.0mph pace
One of those very tired, no-energy rides. Can't figure out why. There were headwinds but they weren't that bad.

Nice weather, too. Good energy levels during the ride, I wonder if it was the double espresso at work and cutting down on junk food.

Curse you, foul headwinds! Know the feeling, had fun with headwinds on my Saturday rides, where the wind shifted in between rides so I had a headwind both ways! At least you got in 50.2 km.

Yeah, similar thing happened to me, on the way back the wind changed and I had a headwind going back too. Though at least not as strong.
Delhi's such a flat, urban place that one doesn't encounter serious headwinds often. This was my first time facing such strong winds.

blah Rode to work, or tried to. Ti... 15.2 km 00:34 16.5mph pace
I think this tire's defective or something.

Could have been a poorly manufactured tire, but I am curious why it would result in blowout....bottom line is the cheaper the tire, the more likely you will get bad thread or belt structure within the construction of the tire. Less quality control these days, especially on the stuff made in India's neighbor to the north, China. Lots of schlocky work coming from there...you end up purchasing and wearing out products twice as fast due to crap manufacturing and quality, not realizing any cost savings.

Yeah, very true. Anyway I swapped it out for a Bontrager which comes stock on the Trek road bikes, much nicer.

Wow! Takes courage to do this in this weather! How do you deal with the heat?

The heat never bothers me too much, probably coz of growing up in Dubai, I used to cycle there regularly. It's the cold that kills me :(
