The only thing keeping me from clicking this as a "great" run is the fact that my feet hurt thru miles 3-8. I have been wearing double socks for the past week or so because the bottoms of my feet have been sore and it 2 pairs eliminates that all together. But the double socks make my shoes feel a tiny bit small and there was some uncomfortable pressure there (though in training I wasn't experiencing this). It wasn't so bad, so I didn't have to stop or anything but it was persistent for most of the race. Other than that, my legs felt light, I never got tired, I really felt like I was taking it easy so I was super excited to see the sub 9:50s post.
I did some bobbing and weaving at the start, hence the extra .2 miles, but tried to keep good lines through most of the race.I am really happy with this and it makes me excited for Chicago.
