    Did 30 mins in the morning and then did 45 mins skipping in the afternoon with some weights for upper body and abs.

    Temp was minus 9 degrees this morning, went out the front door, turned around and went back in...far too cold for my liking.

      I do struggle so dont do it very often...but today was just too cold for me....at least I burned the same amount of calories as I do when I go to gym...

  3. goodElliptical workout and weights 10 km / 00:55

    Did 30 mins on elliptical - then did weights and jumped on the trampoline inbetween sets.
    Enjoyed my Sunday workout.

    Ran 5km in 32.48 mins ( time has improved )
    Walked 500m at 7.5 - Ran 500m at 10 ( 2 sets )
    Walked 500m at 8 - Ran 500m at 10.5 ( 1 set )
    Walked for 5 mins to cool down.

    Felt very tired this morning as didn't sleep to well...but still went off to do the Step class....worked out hard, but didn't burn that many calories as I do when I run in half the time...but suppose its the group activity I enjoy when I do a class...

    Had a quick run this morning and didn't do anything else at gym besides 20 mins on the sunbed...am not a sunbed lover but going home in 17 days to summer and having a white body is not on!!!

      LOL!! I don't know Marcelle -- those tanning beds are BAD news -- you'll get a tan in NO time with the real rays... nice run!

    Did 30 mins on the elliptical then ran for 15 mins on treadmill, walked for 5 mins to cool down and did weight machines.
    Total workout was 1 hour and 10 mins.
    Felt good...

      Showie Lala, Im registered to run the Two Oceans half marathon next month and Im stressing cos Im not getting in the mileage I need for my prep!!!! Nice to see you're still training hard...btw, what dates are you here with us cos I need to check there's no overlap of dates with my folks fm Pretoria who're here end march.. also how u feeling after everything???? lots of love xk

  8. great 8 km / 01:00 12:04 pace

    Ran for 5kl - then walked for 1kl uphill, ended with 2kl run to complete my hour of cardio.
    30 mins of weights, squats and abs.
    Good way to start my week.

    I got to gym a little early - walked on treadmill for 10 mins ( 1km ) to warm up - then attended a Step Class...first one since my treatment in hospital.
    Felt good to be back, I coped well...

    Every 5 minutes I added more resistance...started at 85 and ended 120 - got a good sweat going and enjoyed my workout while watching the German news on tv. Lots of snow has fallen so many accidents on the autobarns around Germany.
