RUN
great Spalding-Roberts 5.84 mi 01:03 10:45 pace
One smiley face icon isn't enough to express how perfect a day this was for running. Turning back home was tough - If I'd taken food with me, I'd have kept going.

Back to running tomorrow, but I have enjoyed the last couple of days on the bike.

RUN
great Kid Miles 2.2 mi 00:35 15:54 pace
Ran slow to the school; walked home with daughter. Knees were not entirely happy on the long downhill, but it was too pretty not to get out there.

RUN
good recovery 1.5 mi 00:20 13:20 pace
Trying to keep calves from tightening up, now that I'm rehydrated and cramps are gone. Not as much run as loping hobble with some backwards walking.

alright Callaway Gardens Marathon 26.2 mi 05:07 11:43 pace
Have run the half before, but this was my first time doing the full. I think I'll stick with the half. Finished with horribly cramping legs - was dehydration. The 2nd time around the loop w/cars is... read more

Funny, you just showed up in my "suggested friends" list today. I did the full out there today too! Those water stops were so oddly spaced out. I guess it was all they could do logistically but hard to plan for it. If I were to run it again, I would definitely carry my own. I was tempted to dig a cup out of the trash at one point but thought better of it! Congrats on your finish :)

Last minute reschedulings cut my exercise time short. Managed to squeeze in a ride.

Beautiful day for a ride. Would have loved to spend more time out, but had mom stuff to do. Think I'll take the bike with me to park when I go for my run tomorrow.

Riverside Park - test run 2.67 mi 00:30 11:04 pace
No pain during this first run, after... 1 trip to the Doctor, 2 days off, 3 days walking slow since last Sunday's twisted ankle between miles 15-20 messed up my knee. Have been worried all week tha... read more

blah just enough 2.1 mi 00:23 10:57 pace
Headache, queasy, but not actually sick, so I figured I'd keep my legs moving... barely.

Beautiful weather. Have fun! (curious if this really works)

Runmeter? It's not bad. Does a better job maintaining GPS signal than Mapmyrun, but it still tends to be a little short on the distance compared to mapping it on gmaps-pedometer or driving it.
