      Awwww ..thanks guys! I broke down and took some ibuprofen this afternoon...not something I do very often (I'm not one for drugs of any kind. It's usually a very last resort... after each baby that I delivered it was all the nurses could do to convince me to take a simple Tylenol, even after my c-section!) Chocolate seemed to help some too :D

      Perry- compression sleeves have really help with shin splints. A new pair of CEP's arrived earlier this week...going to have to try them out.

      Uh oh! Sometimes your aerobic fitness builds before those muscles get adapted. Ice up. That KT help really helped me. Maybe try that if it is recurring?

      Great run but sorry about the shin. Have you tried doing lower leg strengthening exercises? Toe raises, heel raises, walking on heels, etc? That might help.
