Easy run after my workout last evening. Happy Friday all!

  2. blahRun Around the College 7.12 mi / 00:55 07:40 pace

I normally run early in the AM, but decided to rest in this AM given my lingering illness. Took advantage of my daughter's lacrosse practice and ran around the college campus performing 3x2 mile intervals @ 14:40. First @ 14:35, Second @ 14:40, Thir... read more

Strong 2 mile intervals Brendan, great results. Haven't tried those before - must have been challenging.

@Greg My training plan has a couple of different interval sets ranging from 1 mile intervals up to 6 miles as I get closer to the marathon. It is good training but for me I backed off (not knowing). I attribute my performance to my illness.

First use of the Garmin Sync on Daily Mile - seemed to go wicked easy

I did it too, though I'd prefer to be able to add comments right away instead of going back in to do so. Not bad, all in all though. Oh, and nice run, good pace.

Nice clear lit sky joining me on my run this AM. Not much energy on the run as the road to recovery is slow.

I'll try to be positive since this is the beginning of a new work week, it is rainy and cold, the first day of dreaded Daylight Savings time, and I have been hit by the family virus...(I think I was trying to be positive). I waved the white flag indica... read more

Probably for the best Brendan. Best to listen to your body. Don't think of it as defeat so much as giving your body a chance to gather it's resources and fight off that virus.

50 miles for the week, 1 marathon pace workout, 16 mile long run - a decent week all in all. This will be a hard week to adjust due to Daylight Savings given my propensity to run in the early AM.

    • Brian A. Brian A. Nice Job
      Nice Job:

50 miles in one week; fantastic, Brendan. Your mileage, pace, performance has really ramped up over the past several weeks. And that race performance last week was stellar. You should be proud of your hard work and sincere efforts.
