It takes a week or so of first thing running for your body to adjust. Even then, I 'try' to take the first mile slow to wake up. Doesn't always work that way, but usually works! Also, drink some water before heading out, after sleeping 6-8 hours you need some hydration!

Gwyn, I'm really enjoying the workouts......I just thought I would be able to perform them better! So it really isn't the workout itself, it's the fact that I haven't focused on core training in a very long time. I'm going to stick with this.....I can feel it working already!

Wendy, check out http://www.bodyrock.tv/category/30-day-challenge-2/ this is the 30 day challenge I'm doing. They started it at the beginning of the year and are now onto a second challenge, but better late than never! Also, if you try it, don't get overwhelmed with the complexity of the first 2 sessions after the fit test....people brought this to their attention and by the fourth the workouts are simpler but just as intense.
