So, I thought I'd try to be all organized and map a new route BEFORE running it. That didn't work, because part of the route was fenced off, so I had to improvise, and map my new route after I got home. Overall, it was a good run - though I did more walking than I wanted to. The weather was beautiful, and there were LOTS of walkers and runners out there.
As for that pesky tingling in my feet - it didn't happen so much today! I tried to be careful not to tie my shoes too tight, but not too loose either. If they're too loose, my feet slide around, and that causes the ball of my foot to have a burning feeling.
Next Saturday I will try a similar route, and go a bit farther.
