Went okay. I ran for the whole first mile - and I think it was around 10 minutes. After that I kind of ran on and off.....didn't keep track of running/walking times :-/
I'm still having some tingling feelings in my feet during my run. It was not so much in my right foot, much more on the left. I'm starting to second guess whether these shoes are actually right for me. (On the C25K Ravelry forum, I sort of boasted about how I got lucky getting fitted for the "perfect" shoe on the first try. Ha! That's what I get, I guess).
Had a little trouble breathing again, presumably because of my 10-day rest period. But I beat my record time on this route! (not that the time is that impressive, but at least it's progress).
On the trail I ran into the people with the dogs that caused me a $200 vet bill for my dog's stitches. But I didn't mention it. Should I have? Grrrrr...
Also was yelled at by a lady for having my dog off leash in an "on leash" area. Even though I'd bet 98% of the dogs on that short "on leash" part of the trail are off leash, because nobody cares. It's Austin, people are easy-going here. Except that one lady. Boo.
This is turning into a dog post, so I think I'll just stop now. Next run is scheduled for Saturday. Maybe I'll go down to Town Lake and try the 4 mile route that I mapped.
