    Super windy and just wasn't feeling it. Ears hurting from the wind which is now resulting in a minor yet annoying headache. At least the run is done and over.

      I would say it depends on what you are trying to measure. I would count the whole thing, so I could say that I ran X miles in Y time. As you get better, you'll be able to start out a little faster, and when you hit the distance you want, you can stop the time, and take whatever time you need to cool down because the cool down wouldn't count. Does that make sense?

      Thanks Reed. I decided to just go ahead and count it all for now. I'm enjoying the running so I don't want to start super anlayzing the pace and all.

    I'm really enjoying this. I suspect that I've always hated running because I felt that if I couldn't run the entire time then there was no point anyway.
