great Union to 18k STWM 3 km

Walked from Union and back to the 18k mark of the STWM to spectate. This was AMAZING! I probably cheered on over 4,000 runner/walkers starting with the tail end of the 5k race/walk. I saw Robin B. Sam J. Joseph W. Paul R. Alan T. J Pierre M. Sarah M. and many, many others I'm sure. I screamed for over two hours. I tried to call out as many names as I could read along the way and when there were no names, I yelled out bib numbers. My fave one-liners were: (to the speedsters) "I run as fast as you do! In my dreams!" (to the cut females in sports bras) "My abs look just like yours. In my dreams!" "No better way to spend a Sunday!" "This is the victory lap for all of your training! Enjoy it!" (when someone checked their watch) "You're right on time!" And my favorite of the day, the other side of my daily miler sign, "YOU ARE AMAZING!" I had the time of my life! Congrats to you all!

    That's awesome NIcole, it was great seeing you out there. I thought I missed you when I didn't see you at 18K. So was pleasantly surprised when I did. I love spectating too, it's fun! Love your cheers!

    is that 18k of the full or half, don't know when half and full splits.

    18k for both. The split was after that point. I saw many running room people too.

    Alan, just send me your email. I won't post them - that's for you to do. On a side note, I SUCK at photography! I did get some nice ones of you (and some blurry ones). I guess I should have practiced my "sports" mode instead of just putting the camera to it.
