  12. RUN
    great 10 mi 01:23 08:18 pace

Considering the wind, this was a great run. It's the longest run I've done since my surgery in December, and it was a solo run, so I'm very pleased. Happy Saturday all.

It's funny you should say that. Unless I'm running over 16 miles in 20F, I never think to bring water. In the summer, it's a different game. The humidity is so bad in the summer, anything over 6 miles requires hydration.

  13. RUN
    good 6 mi 00:50 08:15 pace

Woke up at 4am for a 5am run with my friend to celebrate her 50th birthday! We finished before it was even light out.

  14. RUN
    good 4.43 mi 00:38 08:34 pace

First outdoor run for a while. A couple of things: 1. I did not need a #windbreaker, it was plenty hot (at 45F) 2. it was sprinkling (better than full on rain, but not dry) 3. Running around Back C... read more

    blah 7 mi 00:30 14.0mph pace

  16. RUN
    great 6 mi 00:48 08:00 pace

I wanted to just get some distance in, not much compared to what I was doing this summer, but I'm truing to mix up my workouts so that I don't get too bored in my basement. Happy Tuesday ... read more

Nice 6 miles in the basement, Angela! Hard to stay motivated this time of year when the roads aren't great.

Thanks guys! Today in Maine it was 45F so I did a different run- a run through quicksand! (a run on clay/sand paths around a place called Back Cove Gary knows the place.) Again, just another way to stay mentally distracted during my run.

Another cold morning in Maine. So, what's a girl to do - get on that bike and warm up those legs. Spinervals: 30 min tempo workout.
