Great run with the charity runners today. Oh how I've missed Central Park. Sure was pretty with the snow!

  2. RUN
    good 2.2 mi

Run/walk with dog. No knee pain! Let's hope this is a good sign. Trying to keep heart rate in zone 2. Harder than it sounds apparently.

  3. RUN
    good 3.25 mi

I'm learning to simply accept my slowness of late and have officially adopted the run/walk method for the time being. It helps my knee from hurting and I've finally invested in a heart ra... read more

I'm totally with ya there. I'm trying to heal a severe bout of IT band tendinitis brought on by marathon training and put over the edge with an actual marathon. Slow is better than not being out there! It will all improve, just need time.

Yep. Recovering very slowly from a nasty bout of sesamoiditis that I got after my last half and realizing that I am now a much slower runner than I was before I was injured.

Oh man! That sucks, Carrie! I hope you can find a solution. Take care and don't push it. I hate to even say it, but there will be other races if you can't do this one.

Noooo! You really really should go to the doctor especially after you rested for good amount of time. When I had knee pain in the past they discovered that it was coming from my hip. So, it could be hip related?

This winter have been really rough for both kiddos and mommies! I am sick again. I think we keep passing germs back and forth even though I clean my place with Lysol like crazy! Great job on pushing stroller for 4M!!! I don't think I can do that for 400m...
