    Long Slow Distance. I'm trying the Maffetone Method with the two week test. So I was trying to keep my heart rate below 140 bpm. I found that to be difficult and averaged a heart rate of 155 bpm.

    I was feeling the heat and humidity today. I started at a fast pace and gradually got slower. The legs are feeling this one and still feeling Thursday's workout.

    We started with three runners, but by the time I was heading back we had all gone our separate ways. I couldn't ask for better running weather though.

      The lake is nice to have on the warm summer runs, even if it is just psychological. On the cold winter days however, the winds can be nasty by the lake.
