      I just got a new abs book. Read there that its a myth that you have to do 200 or more crunches. In the end its the intensity and the right type of targeting that counts, not the reps as they just build up endurance (which may/may not be what you want). As for me, I want mine to look ripped, endurance is secondary.

      Thanks, Mark, Steve! Michael - I kind of came to that conclusion last go around, but my midsection was definitely strong as hell. I was also making sure to keep good form and when I finished the first climb to 200, I started adding in other types of ab work to target all the muscles I wanted to build. I don't really want to have a super-ripped ab area, but I would like it to be flat and strong again. :)
