      Why are they closing it? If you ever want to ride Rist Canyon up north, I am game for Friday's... starting in mid April.

      it will be closed 3 weeks in april, from the 2-22(or 23rd, i'm not sure!)

      Everyone is so happy it's open again. I haven't been out there yet since they reopened it. Is it much different?

      That sounds like fun, but Saturday's are pretty busy for me w/ 3 kids in soccer and that's the day my husband and I do our long runs. Maybe another time?

    ok, i held onto the treadmill with both hands and ran for a few mintues with my eyes closed. I soon realized I was landing SUPER gentle. it was neat. i recommend it!

      I close my eyes and hold on when I do speed work on the treadmill. I seriously doubt I'm landing gentle, though. More like THUMP THUMP THUMP. But, it might do some good to try to land more gently.

      well i had my mp3 player on too and it was like sensory overload when i closed my eyes and THEN i realized I was running really gentle because I was paying like zero attention to actually running.......
