    no biggie, just wanted to walk a bit... just needed some movement without irritating my knee. it doesn't hurt but is a bit sore and so i don't wanna overdo it!

    felt good. Just a light cardio and swam this am at 9:30 and didn't do elliptical til about 5 so it was pretty far apart :) feeling good just a bit sore but no real pain

    not totally sure on the distance but did a beginners swim workout I found on Pinterest. Was harder than I remembered but didn't hurt my knee at least and felt really good the rest of the day

      YEAH!! I just started swimming this summer since I'm sidelined with IT band problems. It was really hard at first but it's getting easier and is such a relaxing and gentle workout. It will get better!!

      Hooray--I think that's the best news you can expect to hear, given your recent history! Good plan to strengthen, and proceed conservatively, knowing that your condition is fixable over time.

      Not silly at all, Lynn. Your health is job one, so the sooner you get a diagnosis, the sooner you can follow a plan to get you back on the right path. Good effort on the machine, and please post back on what the doc said.

      You might be experiencing a few new pains because of your return to workouts (or an overcompensation for the other knee), but walking is good and even better if you can walk outside in this beautiful spring weather. Keep with it, Lynn!

      Walking on an incline is great and it will help strengthen. Maybe you just need to strengthen your legs, ankles, etc for a bit before you get back into running? May take some pressure off your knee! Let's go walking this weekend on the Tobacco Trail puh-lease?
